HOW TO GROW
Bulbs require very little attention or care to thrive, so they are perfect for beginning cut flower gardeners. As long as you plant them on time, in fertile soil and full sun, you’ll be rewarded come spring.
Because most bulbs require some winter chilling to flower properly, they need to be planted in autumn. For mild winter regions, look into buying prechilled bulbs.
As a rule of thumb, plant bulbs twice as deep as they are tall, and the same distance apart as they are wide. Once tucked into the soil, bulbs will form roots all winter long. Then, in early spring, they will push through the soil into a glorious flower display.
