Cosmos Cupcake White

Product Description
Cosmos 'Cupcake White'
Cosmos bipinnatus
The petals on this fun cosmos are all fused together, forming a crisp, clean white teacup. Flowers are as big as the palm of your hand, and the edges look like they have been cut with pinking shears. Planted en masse, blossoms glow on a sea of green foliage. A wonderful addition to the cutting garden or flower border and one of the easiest and most productive cut flowers per square foot you can grow.

How to Grow:
Start seed indoors in trays 4-6 weeks before last frost; transplant out after all danger of frost has passed. Cosmos can also be direct seeded once weather has warmed.
Harvesting/Vase Life:
Individual blooms don’t last long in the vase, about 4-6 days, but each stem is loaded with multiple blossoms that open over a period of a week. Harvest when flowers are just starting to unfurl, but haven’t fully opened in order to prevent insects from pollinating, which will help stretch the vase life by a few extra days. Flower preservative is recommended.
