One of the most beautiful and by far the most unusual stock varieties we’ve grown, this Japanese introduction is a must grow. What plants lack in height, they make up for in their exquisite coloring - a muddy rose with an antique appearance. ‘Vintage Brown’ would pair beautifully with ‘Distant Drums’ roses, California poppy ‘Thai Silk Appleblossom Chiffon’ and ‘Rosanne Brown’ lisianthus.

How to Grow:
Sow multiple seeds per plug indoors 6 weeks before last frost and transplant out, or direct seed into the garden. Sow every 2 weeks to extend the harvest. Staking or netting required.
Harvesting/Vase Life:
Harvest when one-third to one-half of the blossoms on a stem are open and remove most of the foliage. Stock is an extremely long lasting cut and will last up to 10 days when water is changed frequently.
