Hands down one of the most versatile and productive early season foliage plants you can grow. Its bright chartreuse green umbels combine with nearly every color palette and are perfect for mixed bouquets. Easily mistaken for bupleurum but has a much longer flowering window and lasts forever in the vase. A must-grow!
*Please note: When cut, euphorbia emits a toxic sap that is irritating to the skin and eyes. Use caution and wear gloves when harvesting.*
Plant type: hardy annual
Site: full sun
Days to maturity: 110-120 days
Plant spacing: 12-18”
Pinch: not necessary
Approx seeds per packet: 100
How to Grow:
Sow seed indoors in trays 6-8 weeks before last frost and plant out while the weather is still cool.
Harvest when flowers are fully colored but not completely open. Sear stem ends for 7-10 seconds in boiling water. Use caution and wear gloves when harvesting, as the sap is irritating to the skin and eyes. Expect a vase life of 7 days.
