Flowering Tobacco Langsdorffii

Product Description
Flowering Tobacco Langsdorffii
Nicotiana langsdorffii
With delicate looking flowers that are smaller than most flowering tobacco varieties, this gem reminds us of petite ringing bells. A pale green, Granny Smith apple tint that bends to lime tones mixes well with almost any color. These beauties add sparkle and movement to arrangements and are a perfect supporting filler for bouquets. Hummingbirds love it, too!

Days to maturity: 90-100 days
Plant spacing: 12”

How to Grow:
Sow seed indoors in trays 6-8 weeks before last frost. Seed requires light to germinate so do not cover. Bottom water until seedlings emerge. Transplant out after all danger of frost has passed. Can also be direct seeded into the garden once all danger of frost has passed. In areas with hot summer weather, plant in part shade.
Harvesting/Vase Life:
Blossoms are fragile, so take care when harvesting. Harvest when ⅓ of flowers are open on a stem. Flowers are prone to wilt, so harvest during the coolest part of the day and place into water with hydrator. Remove spent flowers from lower half of stem every few days. Expect a vase life of 7 days.
