Larkspur Fancy Pink

Product Description
Larkspur ‘Fancy Pink’
Consolida ajacis
The largest-flowered larkspur we’ve ever grown, ‘Fancy Pink’ is so full-blossomed that it could be easily mistaken for a delphinium. Each towering stem is smothered in large bubblegum-pink flowers with a white center. Fantastic both fresh and dried. A must-grow if you love pastels.
Details:
Plant type: annual
Height: 36-48”
Site: full sun
Days to maturity: 110-120 days
Plant spacing: 6-9”
Approx seeds per packet: 100
How to Grow:
Direct seed in late fall or early spring, or start seed indoors in trays 6-8 weeks before last frost and plant out while the weather is still cool. Plants do best when seed is sown directly in the garden. Cold-tolerant, larkspur can be planted in fall in even the coldest corners of the world. Speed up germination by popping seeds in the freezer a week before sowing.
Harvesting/Vase Life:
Harvest when a third of the blossoms are open on a stem for the longest vase life. If preservative is used, you can expect larkspur to last a solid week. To dry, let all but the top 3 to 4 blooms open, then pick and hang upside down in a warm, dry place out of bright light for 2 weeks.
