Nasturtium Ladybird Rose

Product Description
Nasturtium ‘Ladybird Rose’
Tropaeolum majus
Petite flowers and foliage along with a compact, mounding growth habit make us think of a miniature nasturtium when we see ‘Ladybird Rose.’ Be patient, as stems lengthen over time and eventually grow long enough for arranging. Flowers are a smokey raspberry tone with an iridescent quality. Blooms emerge with richly saturated coloring and lighten to cream with purple veins. The unique coloring is like none other. ‘Ladybird Rose’ would make a terrific addition to pots and the patio.

Start seed indoors in pots 4-6 weeks before last frost; transplant out after all danger of frost has passed. Nasturtiums are very sensitive to cold; wait until weather has warmed to transplant outside.
Harvesting/Vase Life:
Harvest flowers just as they are opening for the longest vase life. If using the foliage, pick individual leaves or full vines once they become leathery or firm to the touch. Both flowers and foliage will persist 7-10 days in the vase, even longer if preservative is used.
