Ornamental Squash Moranga

Product Description
Ornamental Squash ‘Moranga’
Cucurbita maxima
With lovely ribbing and exquisite coloring ranging from light pink to salmon, ‘Moranga’ was the most beautiful squash in our farm trial, hands down. The variety can be used decoratively, and it is also prized for its sweet, savory flavor. A must grow!

Harvesting/Vase Life:
Harvest when fruit is fully mature and the stem attaching it to the vine begins to turn brown. Cut the stems with a knife or pruning shears rather than pulling fruits off the vine. Stems should be cut to 3-4 inches. If not used right away, cure for storage by setting in a warm, dry location for 1-2 weeks.
