Product Description

Ornamental Squash ‘One Too Many’
Cucurbita maxima

One of the most beautiful and unique varieties we’ve ever grown. Medium to large-sized pumpkins are cream with delicate orange lacing. A local farmer referred to this coloring as lobster meat which is spot-on. A must-grow ornamental variety.

Details:
Plant type: annual
Spread: 6-8’
Site: full sun
Days to maturity: 95 days
Plant spacing: 18-30”
Pinch: not necessary
Approx seeds per packet: 10

How to Grow:
Squash dislike having their roots disturbed and do best when direct-sown. Plant seeds directly into the garden after all danger of frost has passed.

Harvesting/Vase Life:
Harvest when fruit is fully mature and the stem attaching it to the vine begins to turn brown. Cut the stems with a knife or pruning shears rather than pulling fruits off the vine. Stems should be cut to 3-4 inches. If not used right away, cure for storage by setting in a warm, dry location for 1-2 weeks.
