Ornamental Squash Triamble

Product Description
Ornamental Squash ‘Triamble’
Cucurbita maxima
My favorite squash variety, this stunning shamrock-shaped treasure is an exquisite shade of glowing blue-green. Not only are the fruit beautifully colored, nicely sized, and uniquely shaped, but after harvest they generally last a year or more on display. I’ve even had a few make it past 2 years! Seldom used in recipes, ‘Triamble’ is unmatched as an ornamental squash.

How to Grow:
Squash dislike having their roots disturbed and do best when direct sown. Plant seeds directly into the garden after all danger of frost has passed.
Harvesting/Vase Life:
Harvest when fruit is fully mature and the stem attaching it to the vine begins to turn brown. Cut the stems with a knife or pruning shears rather than pulling fruits off the vine. Stems should be cut to 3-4 inches. If not used right away, cure for storage by setting in a warm, dry location for 1-2 weeks.
