If you love purple blooms, you’ll be smitten with ‘Dynamite Lavender.’ Large flower heads in shades of soft lilac, pale lavender and grape-purple all have dark faces held on long stems.

How to Grow:
Start seed indoors in trays 10-12 weeks before last frost. Seeds require darkness to germinate so lightly cover. Pansies can withstand light frost, so cold climate gardeners can pick a transplant date that is about 2 weeks before the last frost date.
Harvesting/Vase Life:
Pick when flowers are starting to open. A vase life of 5-7 days can be expected with flower food. Stems lengthen over time.
