Ranunculus 'Tiger'
Flower arrangers will go crazy over this variety, which looks like a flower in a Dutch still-life painting. The unusual color range of ivory, pale lemon, and buttercream edged with cranberry and burgundy make this a great bridge for design work. As flowers open, they reveal a frilled green center. The lush, green, vigorous plants are super-healthy, producing long-lasting flowers.
Often referred to as the rose of the spring, ranunculus are one of the most popular cut flowers that we grow. These somewhat tender corms need extra protection from cold temperatures, but if carefully tended, they will produce an abundance of lush, textural blooms throughout the latter half of spring.
