Considered one of the best flowers to use dried, statice is also great fresh. Easy to grow, great for beginners, and very productive, this versatile plant has papery flowers that bloom over a long period of time. This special mix of warm sherbet tones, including rose, peach, orange, apricot, and pale creamy gold, combines beautifully with a wide range of color palettes. Hands down the best statice you can grow.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes

Start seed indoors in trays 6 weeks before last frost; transplant out after all danger of frost has passed. Seed requires light to germinate, so do not cover.

Harvest when all flowers on a stem have appeared. If picked too soon, stems will wilt. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days. To dry, hang upside down in a warm, dark place for 4 to 6 weeks.
